The landscape of prep-school soccer is changing heading into the 2026 season, but one thing remains consistent: Taft School (Conn.), even with a new coach, starts the year at No. 1 in the High School On SI Prep Top 15.
The inaugural High School on SI Prep School All-America Boys Soccer Team recognizes the very best players from a prep school landscape that represents one of the highest concentrations of elite talent in the U.S. The mix of top domestic players, many who were developed in MLS Next environments, alongside postgraduates and international prospects makes prep schools a fertile recruiting ground for college scouts.
The final day of the NXT LVL Soccer Showcase brings out the stars. In total, 22 matches featuring 44 of the top prep programs in the country were on display during Day 3.
